when i worked in a coffee shop i would always think it smelled like bananas when i ground Ethiopian coffee. i wonder if Niki Segnit, author of The Flavor Thesaurus, would have anything to say about it?

wow ... thank you for this and I will be getting that book. I just got The Flavor Bible by Andrew Dornenburg and Karen A. Page which seems very similar concept

5 for me but not picky. sometimes at a 4 it could be more ripe inside and u dont know.

5 or 6, in a smoothie, honestly never alone (makes me hurt for some reason??). did you know about the link between banana and latex allergies?
