food notes is partly a casual way to chronicle an on-going project I am slowly working on with my friend Matt of the same name, which will be an open source index of ingredients and food topics. food notes will also be a place for me to write about my (amateur) cooking and general food obsession, and share what I have been making and thinking about. It will be a way for me to share updates on other projects I’m working on, including the meal (website coming soon), a collaborative art happening, the second installment of which will be live within the month or so…

food notes will hopefully include interviews, features, sound, mutual aid, recipes, moments of rest, reading lists, helpful links, cookbook reviews, thank you letters …
